Prianto GmbH was founded in 2009 in Germany by William Geens and Oliver Roth as a starting point. Prianto is positioned in the distribution market as a pure play software distributor. Over the last 9 years Prianto has grown into a group of companies covering the IT markets in Europe and the USA. Today Prianto is a leading software distributor with a focussed vendor portfolio.

It is our mission to be a trusted partner for resellers, system integrators and Managed Service Providers and to market innovative software solutions that make digital infrastructures and corporate workplaces more efficient

Since 2011, Prianto has also been present in the UK, Austria and Switzerland, followed by the BeneLux countries in 2012, Poland in 2014, and the USA and France in 2016. Branches were opened in 2017 in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and the Adriatics (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia).

We rely on absolute channel loyalty and sell only to IT resellers (VARs, system houses, integrators, managed service providers, etc.). Our goal is to establish long-term, trustworthy and successful business relationships with reseller partners and international vendors. For this, we offer a high-margin and innovative software solutions, guaranteeing fast and well-founded software licensing services, as well as dedicated "Go-To-Market" strategies.

Since 01 April 2012, Prianto has completely taken over the SINN GmbH Reithofen.

SINN GmbH has been successfully active in the market for network-based software solutions for 15 years. The name SINN stands for "Software INNovations" and underlines the positioning on the market. The company is focused on printing and scanning solutions for Tricerat Terminal Server infrastructures, the RemotelyAnywhere solutions from LogMeIn for remote control of PCs and Macs as well as Propalms. SINN GmbH has deep product-know-how that pays off for their partners. Practical add-ons to the vendors´ products are also developed, which are made available to the partners free of charge.

Within the Prianto GmbH, a business unit SINN was set up, which takes care of these subject areas and is supplemented by other vendors and solutions, such as the client-based VDI Solutions from Virtual Computer. The former Managing Director of SINN GmbH, Mr. Georg Maurer, managed as a Director the division of a Business Unit Sinn. SINN GmbH has a completely complementary business model and, like Prianto GmbH, is a distributor specialized in enterprise software solutions.

Managing Team

William Geens

After studying business administration at the LMU in Munich, William Geens initially worked for four years as a management consultant at a worldwide leading consultancy in Germany and the USA. Afterwards, he switched to Raab Karcher AG, a subsidiary of VEBA AG, as Head of Corporate Development. He was responsible for projects in Germany, the USA, Japan and Eastern Europe. At his next destination, Raab Karcher Elektronik GmbH, William Geens has rebuilt a value distribution business with 50 employees and more than 60 million euros in sales in five branches within two years. He then moved to Actebis, a leading broadline distributor, initially as Head of Product Management. Later he was entrusted the management for the whole of Germany. William Geens subsequently expanded his experience in the IT distribution market; As CEO of TAROX AG, as Head of Product Marketing and Marketing at Tech Data and as Managing Director of DNS Deutschland (Arrow). In 2009, William Geens, together with Oliver Roth, founded Prianto GmbH.

Oliver Roth

He graduated in Business Administration at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg. Upon successful completion, Oliver Roth began working for the company BTB in Leinfelden - Echterdingen. The focus of his work at this software and consulting house was on marketing and (project) sales for enterprise software solutions. After moving to Distributor Avnet Technology Solutions, he was responsible for IBM Software as a key account manager. Further stages of his career were the distributors Bell Micro and DNS (today Arrow ECS). There, Oliver Roth managed teams in the areas of sales and product marketing for software solutions. At the beginning of 2009 Oliver Roth decided to join the company management of Prianto GmbH as a shareholder.

Yuri Pasea

Yuri Pasea is CEO and Founder of Prianto Limited. Yuri founded KNS in 1984, and with the KNS team successfully launched Citrix in the UK market. KNS went on to become Centia, a VMware distributor and Citrix’s largest European distributor for many years. Centia was subsequently acquired by DNS Arrow in 2007.
A well known figure in the IT distribution industry, Yuri brings a wealth of experience in identifying IT trends and delivering value to resellers, service providers and system integrators with leading edge technology solution.

Tom L. Zorn

Tom serves as our CTO and Executive Chairman and he previously co-founded Alternative Technology in 1986 and was the visionary behind the company's corporate, technology and vendor strategies. In addition to being an industry spokesperson and commentator on issues and trends in security, infrastructure and virtualization sectors, Tom was responsible for identifying and engaging new vendors to complement the company's product and service offerings. During his tenure, Tom created and led every department and directed the growth of all company initiatives. This included conducting seminars across the U.S. and Canada to educate resellers on key accounts on Server Based and Virtual computing along with infrastructure and security products. Intuitive sense, and early recognition, of future trends and disruptive technologies.

Fred J. Green

Fred serves as our CEO and President and leads the strategic visioneering and the organization's execution.  Fred formerly served in sales and management leadership roles at Arrow Electronics, Inc. and is a venture capitalist, advisor and also serves on several non-profit boards.

Rashied Akrum

Rashied Akrum is Managing Director-CEO and Co-Founder of Prianto BV. With more than 25 years experience in leadership roles he has been successful in building European channels for new emerging technologies. He has an extensive entrepreneurial experience and for the last 15 years he has been building the EMEA channel for and with multiple IT software infrastructure vendors.

Carina Rozendaal

Carina Rozendaal is Managing Director-COO and Co-Founder of Prianto BV.  Carina Rozendaal has 20 years broad experience of sales, marketing and business development in the computer technology industry with a focus in the last 10 years on building EMEA channels for the software Infrastructure and virtualization market.

Jean-Christophe Poncet

Jean-Christophe joined Prianto in 2017 to start and develop the business in our subsidiary in France. With over 20 years’ experience in the IT Channel industry in multiple areas including infrastructure, software and services, Jean-Christophe has held both sales and channel positions in several major vendors including Unisys, SGI and Sun Microsystems. Prior to Prianto, Jean-Christophe spent nine years in the Channel organization at NetApp where he has been managing the Channel for the French market for 4 years. He was also responsible for coordinating channel programs in South EMEA. Jean-Christophe graduated in Business Administration at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Dijon.

History and Mission

Founded by colleagues and friends William and Oliver, Prianto was set up to cover the distribution of often overlooked but highly innovative niche enterprise software solutions. Read about our very own founding myth here:

  • Prianto was coined using the first names of the children of founder William Geens, Priska and Anton
  • Co-founder Oliver Roth committed to his share of Prianto by signing a beer mat at William´s favourite pub
  • William used to tune and successfully sell beautiful oldtimers under the Prianto brand
  • The first important client was provided by a „non-profit business angel“
  • Two of Oliver´s best friends from high school are now an important part of Prianto´s sales force

From Prianto Germany to Prianto Group

Prianto Group founders share an intertwined common history and get along very well. Together we strive to grow awareness for forward-thinking, cutting-edge solutions and technologies globally. Read about how it all evolved from Prianto GmbH Germany:

  • Before founding Prianto UK, CEO Yuri Pasea announced that he was taking a year-long sabbatical. He was called exactly 365 days later to ask when he could start the company!
  • It was Yuri who then passed the ball to Rafal Goszyk, local sales manager of Poland.  The two of them had worked together previously.
  • The founders of Prianto Benelux, Rashied and Carina where going to start their VAD company without Prianto, but after a call from - again Yuri - and a meeting with William and Oliver (which ended with dancing on tables), they decided to join the Prianto clan.
  • Founders of Prianto USA, Fred Green and Tom Zorn were well retired and content. However, founding fever grabbed them again when they heard of Prianto´s plan to expand to the USA and they never looked back!
